Walkerville Holiday Walkabout
Events such as today’s Walkerville Holiday Walkabout continue to help drive Old Walkerville’s growth over the last few years into being Windsor’s most desirable and vibrant area to live. Here we see some carolers who were strolling about and setting up in front of various shops entertaining the crowds.

Hopefully it was busier when you were there! We were there from 11 to 12:30 but there weren’t too many people about. At least we got to see Santa! The stores didn’t go all out this year as they have in the past though …a sign of the economic times?

Argh! I didn’t get a chance to check out the hood this past weekend… I saw that Katnandu had some cute Christmas candy decorating the outside of their building, but everything was taken down by the time I got back into Walkerville on Saturday afternoon. Ah well! I’ll just have to check out all the pics! (and notice how I said “Christmas” candy and not “holiday” treats… that was for you John!)
